Australia'S Current Inflation Rate 2025. Over the twelve months to the september 2025 quarter, the cpi rose 2.8%. The data shows there are still strong prices rises in some areas.

It was the first increase in annual cpi figures since q4 of 2022, amid higher inflation for both goods (3.2% vs. “annual inflation was 2.7 per cent in august, down from 3.5 per cent in july, and is the lowest reading since august 2021.”
